Inspiration
Our inspiration for developing the app is to build a system that every Nigerian users can use. And to ease off stress on the path of the users with security at the forefront.
What it does
The app has the following features.
- Users can withdraw and make transfers
- Users can recharge and pay bills using the Africa's Talking API
- Users can be verified with their BVN and fingerPrint using NIBSS API
- Users can save, invest and get loan using the app
- User can scan purchased item with the app and pay
- For more stringent security reasons the app will be using a unique identifier algorigthm for the login and eye authentication system
- Users can can open account with any bank from the app thereby reducing the stress of going to the bank and filling forms and also reducing the number of different banking apps the user have to install
- Single sign on features to reducing repetitive or different login pins for different banking or fintech apps
Though most of the features are yet to be implemented because of time but the above mentioned features can be found in our mockup and development will continue
How I built it
The app has both web and a mobile design. The web and the mobile implementation are still in progress
Challenges I ran into
We had issues understanding and testing the BVN API on the FSI sandbox and the transfer API on the sandbox
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We successfully tested the Messaging API and it worked fine on postman still working on the implementation We designed some of the screens from the mockup on both the web and mobile app
What I learned
We learnt how to use the FSI sandbox API
