Inspiration

Our goal was to simplify digital invoicing and secure checkout experiences for global entrepreneurs and developers participating in the PayPal AI Hackathon.

What it does

PayFlow AI is a smart, multi-step invoice generation and secure payment gateway system. It allows users to input customer details, instantly calculate summaries, choose secure payment methods, and generate an official verifiable invoice complete with transaction IDs, dates, and instant QR codes.

How we built it

• Built using responsive frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScript.
• Implemented a clean, multi-step state management system for seamless checkout transitions.
• Integrated dynamic QR code generation APIs for instant payment verification and one-click print/download invoice features.

Challenges we ran into

Designing a smooth, mobile-friendly multi-step payment gateway interface directly inside compact mobile editors while maintaining high professional standards was a fun challenge.

What we learned

We learned how modern payment gateways structure secure checkout flows and how effective UI/UX design builds user trust during digital transactions.
