Inspiration

The QR code came from somebody who was going to work on the project and we had inspiration from websites like QR code monkey

What it does

Right now only the front-end is done, but in the future I hope to allow for customization of QRcodes and the ability to scan other peoples QRcodes

How I built it

The current stack is React Native with Typescript and nothing else. In the future I hope to implement Node.Js for the backend as well as a DB, but I have yet to decide on which DB to use.

Challenges I ran into

I was orginally going to do this with 3 other people, by the third day of the challenge, none of the three had contributed, and dropped out so I just had to go and do something by myself, which ended up being the front-end.

Accomplishments that I am proud of

This was my first time doing mobile development, as well as using react native, and also typescript. So basically I knew nothing but bare bones javascript coming in so the fact that I even got something working is pretty impressive in my opinion.

What I learned

I learned a lot about mobile development as well as react native, which I hope to now use for my front-end in more projects to come.

What's next for Pay Pattern

I hope to build the backend for this app by the end of this summer, but we will see how this goes as that seems like a hefty task to do.
