Inspiration

We were moved into a state of deep stress thnking that how much time we the 5G generation spend in the slow processes like scanning QRs to buy a small pen or to fill our tummy , pay library fines and even to pay our college fees. When we were in these deep thoughts Fampay just provided the much needed push and inspired us to provide a solution that will be powered by them to releif Gen Z from this painful labyrinth of payments interfaces.

What it does

Pay'n Less provides a one stop solution for all the payment needs that a student might need while he is inside the campus. Pay'n Less will follow every student whereever they move and will show all the merchants around them based on their location.If students wills to do any transaction they just need to tap the merchant name in Pay'nLess mobile app, add the amount of their bill and Fampay is there to take care of the rest process. From paying library fines to buying a small stationery every payment can be made through Pay'nLess without scanning any kind of QR's.

How we built it

We the team TrailBlazers built Pay'nLess with lots of love and keeping in mind all the problems that a student might face related to online payment by using the most modern tech stacks. We have used few state-of-the-art technologies for building our frontend and backend which comprises of Flutter in the frontend and Django REST Framework , Django Channels for socket support and Docker for deployment in the production.

Challenges we ran into

We mainly ran into challenges related to time management as we have brainstormed a variety of use cases before providing the solution that we believe will set a strong base for our product and secondly expressing the thoughts in this short time period and realizing it as per our imagination.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

At the end of 48 hours of continuous hacking we are confident that we have provided a concrete idea with solution that will help the students inside the campus to complete all their payments needs inside a single user friendly application.

What we learned

Accoring to us building and learning goes hand in hand and therefore we learned a tons of things while accomplishing this target of making campus life a bit stress free. We learned how to work as a team and to have each others back to acheive the goal. Secondly, we learned the importance of proper time management in order to fulfill any goal in life and last but not the least we learned a lots of new technologies and architectures to solve any serious real world problem.

What's next for Pay'nLess

Pay'nLess is not going to stop here, Pay'nLess will provide the pain killer for all the pains that a student inside a campus might face regarding his financial management and will try to save the valuable times of the most important resource of our nation by providing them more time saving innovative solutions for all their financial needs.
