Inspiration
The zeal to solve problem that put blissful smile on potential customer and a profitable return on investments to our investors, is what drive us. The FSI problem statement gives us a lot of ability to explore our problem solving skills in one of the most crucial topic in FINTECH which has to do with securing user identity and payment.
What it does
It is a mobile app that uniquely identify user performing a transaction using dynamic IDs (blockchain techniques) linked to the device. It works offline for easy accessibility which is a layer on top of USSD. It reduce Sim swap as user with your sim can't gain access to your account.
How I built it
We use Nodejs for the application backend and MongoDb for database. The mobile app was built with dart and flutter. This speed up our development process.
Challenges I ran into
Understanding the sanbox api and ability to think of solution around it. The approach to think of a critical way to secure the solution was a big challenge for us and a lot of options erodes our mind.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Ability to embed USSD to a mobile app which still allow users to use a payment app even when there is no internet.
What we learned
We learned how to use core banking and ability to test our idea.
What's next for Pay As You Know (TeamSoftbox)
We look forward to integrate this payment solution for all banks and merchants as this allow them to spend less and earn more.
