Inspiration

Came across a video which showed us that India is the rabies capital of the world with 70 % of the cases originating in India. so we came to solve this through our platform Pawsitive (positive).

What Pawsitive does

It is a nft marketplace . where holders get nft . The nft hodlers become a member of the dao. Now all the money collected is used for the welfare of the such dogs. we create proposal and what to do with this collected money as a community.

How we built it

We had to schedule a lot of meeting and then we planned and researched this for some time . daily scrums are important to discuss ideas and mostly how to implement them. Each team member was given a separate task to handle for the project.

Challenges we ran into

Scheduling and matching our time was very challenging as we had a very diverse team with people form different part of the country

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To pull of a project which has real life implication is the reason we worked super hard for this and even though this was very challenging for us we were able to pull this off . We can actually contribute as coder to the our country is a feat not everyone can accomplish.

What we learned

The more we researched the more it saddened us and we had to take measures to take hold of this situation.India is the rabies capital of the world with more than 70% of the world cases coming from here. The idea behind the project is to raise funds for the Dogs to help them with hospitality, food, and shelter and vasectomy. To cope with with the rising population of the stray dogs and stop the killing of these dogs with cruelty and to rectify the mistakes and move ahead towards the future and controlling the spread of the disease.

What's next for Pawsitive

We plan to make this dao a part of our of other project which is the country dao . so this dao can operate at local level under the leadership and decisions of the other dao.
