Inspiration

We were inspired by the layout of the uber app and the lack of animal therapy in universities.

What it does

It connects volunteers/those who would like "animal therapy"and self care. Animals at shelters and those that are left alone benefit with human interaction instead of being in a cage or alone.

How we built it

We used ionic and APIs.

Challenges we ran into

We had a lot of trouble setting up ionic with android studio.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to think of an app that benefits everyone equally: people who are stressed and love animals, individuals who seek service for free, and animal shelters that need volunteers.

What we learned

We learned git, ionic, and re-learned html and css.

What's next for Paws 4 a Day

We need to create two more profiles: one for an animal shelter and one for individuals who request services such as pet walking or sitting.
