Inspiration

Difficulty finding all the resources available on campus since there are so many and not a centralized page to discover all.

What it does

Centralizes events across Northeastern University into one cohesive page and allows you to directly add to your google calendar. Simplifies the process including assistant through the site pages and chat.

How we built it

We built the website through React using Tailwind for the front end, we also scraped the web and used API for processing our data as well as google calendar integration. We also have a chat bot that can help you find and organize your events

Challenges we ran into

For ideation there is overlap with Northeastern Calendars but nothing that helps centralize and has integrated help to stay organized and not feel as overwhelmed with everything Northeastern has to offer. Had some issues at first with scrapping some sites based on log in and with the google calendar but were able to work around this and do some research online as to how to fix this and properly integrate everything.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The layout of our site and being able to easily add any NEU event to your calendar and be exposed to what NEU has to offer.

What we learned

How to manage all our tasks in a timely matter while also dividing our time and duties for each member having designated tasks but also learning to communicate and work and learn together to make sure every component works in unison.

What's next for Pawrganizer

Pawrganizer could expand to have more information on other amenities Northeastern has to offer and/or add events from around campus that might not be affiliated with Northeastern but are close by and easily accessible.
