Inspiration ,We were inspired by seeing the many ways people previously used to search for their lost pets.we thought there must be some way we can utilize ai to improve the process
What it does ,pawprint is a lost and found pets finder that uses ai to compare between the database of lost and found animal to find them
How we built it ,it is built by using pythons flask as a foundation.we wrote this mainly in visualstudiocode and use GitHub to collaborate
Challenges we ran into,getting the clip model to work properly is the main challenge we faced,figuring out how to compare the two images and see if it's similar
Accomplishments that we're proud of,we are proud of the fact that we got to make the core ai function work properly and also manage to configure a working messaging feature
What we learned,we learned the steps it takes to design and build a website and also how to work together over github
What's next for PawPrint:AI Pet Finder we want to hopefully add other features such as ocr collar tagging and maybe use a better ai model
