Purpose
PawMotif is a digital pet portrait project I build for people who want to turn a companion photo into artwork.
How it works
Choose a portrait style, provide a clear pet photo and review a free preview. The current collection includes monochrome, oil-inspired, watercolor, gouache, pencil and botanical styles. Finished digital downloads are available as a one-time purchase. Physical prints and frames are not included.
Implementation and design
The web application uses React and TypeScript with TanStack Start and Cloudflare deployment tooling. The gallery separates illustrative style examples from an individual generated portrait, and keeps the preview and purchase steps distinct.
Reviewing the result
Check the pet markings, eyes, proportions and background before choosing a download. AI-generated artwork can introduce artifacts and may need another attempt. Use a photo you have permission to upload.
