Inspiration

Pet food recalls happen more often than most people realize, and many pet owners are unaware that the food they are feeding could be unsafe. Checking recall websites and analyzing ingredient lists manually is time-consuming and confusing. We wanted to create a simple tool that gives pet owners instant, reliable answers. Our goal was to use AI to make pet food safety information accessible, understandable, and actionable in seconds.

What it does

PawGuard is an AI-powered pet food safety scanner that analyzes pet food brands and gives a clear safety report.

Get a safety score from 0 to 100

See active and past FDA recalls

Detect potentially toxic ingredients for specific pet types

View AI-powered nutritional analysis

Verify whether a brand is legitimate

It supports dogs, cats, birds, fish, and small animals.
