We wanted to make animal rescue faster. Finding the right rescuer and calling multiple organizations can take valuable time.

What it does

PawCall lets someone report an animal emergency with one tap. It detects their location, finds nearby responders, and uses an AI voice agent to contact them. If one cannot help, it escalates to the next.

How we built it

We built PawCall as a React web app with GPS location, responder discovery, AI voice calling, escalation, and rescue history.

Challenges

The main challenge was making the emergency flow simple while handling responder failures and escalation.

What we learned

We learned that AI can handle the complicated coordination in the background while keeping the user's experience extremely simple.

What's next

We want to connect PawCall with verified rescue organizations, vets, and volunteers in real-world networks.
