Inspiration
Gamifying the concept of being productive, using affection and emotions!
What it does
You have a dog on the screen that requires you to be productive to be happy. If you look away from the screen (using your phone or day dreaming etc), the dog will start whimpering until you decide to start working again! This will prompt the user to go back to work and stay productive!
How I built it
We built a web app using React.js, JavaScript , some CSS frameworks and an external library called Pico.js that helps detect faces. If the face the virtual dog doesn't detect that you are looking on the screen, an event will be called to make the dog whimper.
Challenges I ran into
Image Processing! It's really difficult to create our own image processing base software in 24 hours, so we had to use an external library.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
In the last 3 hours, we encountered a bug and managed to fix it in the nick of time, phew!

Due to time constraints, the code is really messy and has bad OO design :(
