An interrupted craft or desk-kit task leaves unfinished decisions, moved parts, and forgotten context. PAUSEPOINT preserves that reasoning at a deliberate pause and helps someone return without treating an old view as current truth.
The working local prototype retains an original photo and explanation, lets the person correct and confirm completed or partial steps, part locations, open choices, and a next intended action, then compares a return observation with that checkpoint. Targeted confirmations distinguish changes from uncertainty. Historical checkpoints and accepted returns remain inspectable.
The JavaScript/Node.js browser application uses IndexedDB and supports save, export, import, and recovery. Tests cover photo navigation and truthful pending or unverified save states. Automatic image alignment was experimentally rejected after failing controls.
NVIDIA multimodal interpretation on Nebius remains planned. No live model call, published runnable source release, validated human recovery benefit, or safety-critical instruction is claimed.
