Inspiration- Creating an app to control screentime and budget spending stems from a desire to promote digital wellness and responsible financial habits. By addressing the growing concerns of excessive screen use and financial mismanagement, this app aims to empower users to lead healthier, more balanced lives. It caters to individuals, families, and educational institutions seeking a comprehensive tool for mindful technology usage and smart financial planning.
What it does - Pause solves the problem of excessive screen time by allowing users to allocate their pocket money and redeem it only when they stay within specified screen time limits. Our app offers authentic rewards that hold actual worth, distinguishing us from other apps that only offer unlimited coins with no substantial value. Additionally, we offer a neo banking account for seamless transactions and effective spending and budgeting management.
How we built it- The app is currently in its MVP Stage, Most of the app is built but the FIGMA DESIGN is ready completely.
Challenges we ran into- The challenges we had while building this was to integrate it to backend and figuring out how can we give customised offers to users
Accomplishments that we're proud of- We are proud that we came up with and idea which would help the mass.
What we learned - The main thing learned here was teamwork and how to work in a team.
What's next for Pause App - Our plan is to work on it and launch PAUSE. In future we also have plans to use this to Whitelable and give this to companies.
