Inspiration
We wanted to create something that would be a handy pocket advisor for every individual on campus.
What it does
This project takes in a pdf file and creates a calendar that can be displayed in any calendar app, Google calendar, Outlook calendar, Apple calendar, or others.
How we built it
We used python and node.js for the backend and frontend respectively, and this app was powered by GPT-3.5
Challenges we ran into
We ran into many challenges implementing GPT and the front end, for example, creating a full stack application was not something we were versed in, so we needed to learn how to build an API from python code.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of our accomplishments on completing the project and hope to refine it greatly in the future. We learned alot and will be using these skills to apply
What we learned
We learned how to use different technologies and combine them together to create an app that is helpful and useful for students all across the world
