We've visited hospitals and senior homes, and realized that a lot of them were in pain while being unable to express how they felt or seek help when they needed it. Those people unable to express their pain are the ones suffering the most, so we created an app that uses Fitbit to detect high levels of stress, both physical and mental, through their heart rates, and notifies caretakers through Twilio, allowing caretakers to more effectively help.
What it does
It uses heartrate data from the last 5 minutes to detect whether the user is experiencing high levels of stress and pain. It then uses twilio to send a message to a trusted contact, notifying them of the situtation.
