Inspiration
Many learners spend months learning random skills but still don't know if they are actually job-ready. We wanted to solve this confusion by focusing on skills gaps and employability, not just courses.
What it does
PathZero analyzes user's current skills against real job role expectations, calculates a job readiness score, identifies critical skill gaps, and generates a clear, time-bound learning roadmap.
How we built it
We built PathZero using an Al-driven analysis layer that compares user skills with industry requirements. A clean web interface collects inputs and presents insights like readiness score, skill gaps, and a weekly roadmap in a simple, visual way.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was avoiding generic Al responses and making the output feel realistic and honest. We also had to balance depth of analysis with simplicity for a hackathon-ready MVP.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully built a working prototype that feels like a real career tool, not just a chatbot. The readiness score, skill gap prioritization, and honest feedback clearly differentiate PathZero from typical learning platforms.
What we learned
We learned that clarity and honesty matter more than feature overload. Focusing on one strong insight job readiness instead of content--made the product more impactful and judge-friendly.
What's next for PathZero- AI Job Readiness Analyzer
Next, we plan to add real job market data, role-specific benchmarks, and deeper skill confidence tracking to make readiness cores even more accurate.
