What it does
It helps people (more specifically children) to learn about saftely and responsibility through the world of online, and the outside world
How we built it
through simulations using GoDot, PixilArt, and Youtube Tutorials
Challenges we ran into
Hours of editing animations, transistions, PixilArt to fit in with the other backgrounds, transistions error causes fail to the whole project 30 minutes prior to submission.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we were able to fix the animations and transitions in the game, we were able to fix the background to make it more sutable and fit in with the other backgrounds, we got the choices to move along in harmony, furthermore, we are glad that its Done.
What we learned
we learned that 24 hours is not enough time to make a videogame (now that we know how all videogame editors, coders, and designers feel when they have to create a game), we now gained the experience to create a game (we are gonna use every file to build up our resume)
What's next for PathChamp
we hope that we would keep working on this to make it more better, and to have it become more than just a learning experience, we might call it something else than PathChamp, we might work on the scenes, the background, and the drawings to make it more realistic, etc...
