A game about the 2016 presidential candidates!

Inspiration

We were inspired to create this game based off of a board game called Tiki Topple. After looking online, we realized that there were no other apps with this gamestyle and the board game itself was discontinued. Now - with this game we made - we can continue playing this game forever!

What it does

The game allows for multiple players (2-4), and gives each player a score card that they each attempt to match using the move cards given to them.

How we built it

We built it using the ionic framework. None of us were very experienced with Javascript, so we had to learn a lot!

Challenges we ran into

We struggled for many hours trying to collaborate on Github and could not originally decide on a language to write in or which software to use. We also struggled with formatting and learning Javascript.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The art is beautiful, or game is funny, we are funny, and our code works!

What we learned

We learned how to use the ionic framework very well, and discovered a lot of new features and how to program in Javascript.

What's next for Path2PresidencyGithub

There is still a lot of art work we would like to implement to make our app more _ a e s t h e t i c _ .

We would like to add a online multiplayer or an offline feature using Twilio in the future.

We believe our game has a lot of potential and would love to continue with this concept together!
