Inspiration
We as international students in our last months of college we need to be really organized with dates. This is because we need to be ready to apply to the OPT(optional practical training) that is the next visa step to pass from students in America to be able to work. But College students have a lot in their minds and more in their last months, graduation, final projects , social life and looking for that job offer that can power start your carrier in America, Adding this the frustrating process of the OPT. That is why created Path Mate, an Ai powered calendrier that help you organized and find clarity on those important dates.
What it does
Our web app leverages user profile information to create a customized roadmap for your goals and skills development. We integrate cutting-edge AI from ChatGPT to craft a step-by-step plan, complete with calendar dates for when to start and finish each milestone. It's like having a personal success coach right in your pocket. With Path Mate, you'll turn aspirations into achievements
How we built it
We Used Django the Web App library from Python for the front end and back end. MindsDB with use of prompt engineer to user the user information to create great the events to display in the calendrier.
Challenges we ran into
-Getting familiar with Django -Setting up Data Base
- Connecting MindsDb with Django back end
-Improving the prompts to get the best events.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
-Getting familiar with a Django so fast -Understanding SQLITE -Creating an project that can help other people -Team organization was always really good, with constant communication and good github commits

What's next for PATH MATE
We are really excited with the different possibilities this project opens imagine telling Path Mate "I am Emilio , I am from Mexico and I want to learn German" and based on that It generates an Ai calendrier events when you know in which day you are learning the Verbs, Vocabulary, etc.So the possibilities are end less
