Summary of PatchPlan in 4 Lines
PatchPlan is a project manager built for game developers. It brings everything an indie studio struggles to keep track of into one place: sprint boards, idea canvases, public roadmaps, game news, beta testers, email campaigns and Discord. What makes it different is the AI layer, powered by NVIDIA Nemotron on Nebius Token Factory. PatchPlan collects what players say about your game from Steam, Reddit, the web and Discord, answers questions about your whole workspace, and can even build a custom tool for you when PatchPlan doesn't have the feature you need.
Problem & Solution
Problem: Indie studios don't run on one tool. They run on six: one for tasks, one for docs, one for playtests, one for community, one for email and one for news.
- Feedback gets lost. Players report bugs and reviews on Steam, Discord, Reddit and forums. Someone has to go and collect it all by hand. PatchPlan automates that.
- Generic tools. Most tools aren't built for game development, so the team spends time managing tools instead of making the game.
- Small teams can't afford it. Paying for separate task, playtest, community and marketing tools gets expensive for a small studio.

Solution: PatchPlan puts all of it in one workspace, with AI that helps throughout the app. Plan your sprints, sketch ideas, publish your roadmap and news, invite beta testers and keep your Discord updated. Ask a question about your studio and get the answer in seconds instead of digging for 10 minutes. Collect player feedback from many sources, with links to every source, and turn it into tasks. If PatchPlan is missing a tool you need, describe it and PatchPlan builds it.
Features & Functionalities
🗂️ Core workspace
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sprint Board | Tasks organised by game pipeline: Art, Code, Audio, Design and Bugs, grouped by milestone. |
| Organizations | Create a studio, invite teammates with a join code, and share one workspace. |
| Idea Boards | Living design docs with an infinite whiteboard canvas for combat loops, level layouts and lore. |
| Public Roadmap | One click to share your progress with players and publishers. No login needed to view. |
| Game News | Write and publish patch notes and devlogs on a themed public page. |
| Beta Testers | Invite players to test your game and keep your tester list in one place. |
| Email Campaigns | Send updates and scheduled digests to players, press and testers straight from PatchPlan. |
| Discord Integration | Finished tasks, new ideas and published news post to your server automatically. |
The AI layer (NVIDIA Nemotron on Nebius Token Factory)
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Player Signal | Collects feedback from Steam reviews, Reddit and the web (via Tavily) and Discord, skips results about other products, and groups the rest into clear issues you can turn into tasks. |
| Search Everything | Ask anything, like "What's blocking the next update?", and get a short answer with links to the matching tasks, docs, news and feedback. |
| Build Anything | Describe a tool you need, e.g. "a localization tracker for 6 languages", and PatchPlan builds it as a new module you can pin to your dashboard. |
How We Used NVIDIA, Nebius & Tavily
- Nebius Token Factory runs all of PatchPlan's AI. Every call happens on our server, so no keys reach the browser.
- NVIDIA Nemotron models:
- Nemotron 3 Nano 30B handles quick jobs: answering search questions and sorting small batches of player feedback.
- Nemotron 3 Super 120B handles bigger jobs: building custom tools, writing patch notes and emails, and sorting large feedback batches.
- Tavily searches Reddit and the web for what players say about your game. Player Signal filters out results about other products, then Nemotron groups the rest into clear issues.
- Safe by design: Build Anything returns a plan (fields and views) that PatchPlan checks before showing it. The AI never runs code.
- Why open models: studios keep control of their data and their AI tools.

Use Cases
The solo dev building a demo Plans the demo milestone on the board, sketches the tutorial level on the canvas, invites 20 beta testers, and publishes a news post that lands in Discord automatically.
The 5-person studio after a big update Runs Player Signal to see what players are saying about update 2.2 on Steam, Reddit and Discord, asks "Which of these bugs are already on the board?", and turns the rest into tasks for the next sprint.
The team getting ready for launch Shares the public roadmap with a publisher, emails their press list from PatchPlan, and uses Build Anything to spin up a "Launch day checklist" module that PatchPlan didn't have yet.
