Inspiration: We wanted a platformer where survival depends on managing a ticking instability meter instead of health. What it does: You collect 10 stabilizers to open the boss door, then grab 3 core charges in the arena to defeat the boss. How we built it: We built it with Phaser 3 and JavaScript in a single HTML/JS game file. Challenges we ran into: Balancing instability, abilities, and rift minigames so runs felt tense but fair. Accomplishments we're proud of: A boss fight where you win by collecting items instead of direct combat. What we learned: How to combine platforming, resource management, and minigames in one core loop. What's next for Patch Panic: More levels, extra abilities, and polish for the rift minigames.
