Inspiration
The idea behind Past Life Persona came from wanting to empower women and minorities by showing them that they’re not alone in their challenges and successes. We wanted to create something that connects people to historical figures who share similar personality traits and qualities, so they can see the strength, resilience, and wisdom of women who have changed the world. It’s all about helping people feel confident, curious, and inspired, while knowing they’re part of a long legacy of incredible women who made history. At the end of the day, we want everyone to feel like they, too, have the power to leave their mark.
What it does
The personality quiz that connects you to powerful historical figures based on your personality traits and qualities.
How we built it
We built it by designing first in Figma then using html css and java script and we used json file to hold data.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges with the alignments of the webpage and also the naming of some of our codes were not matching since we each worked on different parts and tried merging together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of collaboratively finishing this project even with all the challenges we faced without giving up. Also proud of all the first time coders in my team that were willing to do the work.
What we learned
We learned that it is important to split responsibility of a project based on skill and adaptability to learning new coding tools.
