- Mushy casts glittery spells and magic explosions to attack shadow threats and the evil dragon
Inspiration
- Inspired by retro platformers but with a magical, fantasy element, while also promoting a social message about internet security.
What it does
- Intro video explains the premise and presents the theme of internet security in a narrative fashion
- Player progresses through three levels of increasing difficulty, collecting coins and defeating enemies
- Includes an educational end screen for those who successfully complete the game, including links to resources
How we built it
- Phaser, vscode environment using javascript.
Challenges we ran into
- First hackathon, non-compsci/software engineering background, small team, things broke and we spent a long time trying to fix them.
- Phyics student on graphics, Biology student on code
- Went from a team of 4 to 2

- It's a game you can play and it works!
- It's also educational, and has short addictive levels
- levels can be played in easy, medium or hard modes meaning there are three variations of the three levels
