Inspiration

not liking how google saves passwords and wanted a way to save locally while also encrypted

What it does

prompts user for an encryption key, or generates one if file empty, decrypts textfile and allows the user to display it, edit it, and add new entry's. before re-encrypting it and saving to txt file.

How we built it

we used visual studio community running the program in c++

Challenges we ran into

ran into problems learning github, and intagrating vs community with it.

how to work in a team and in a time crunch. also how to effectively use github

What's next for password file encryptor

if we can we eventually we what it to have multiple files with there own encryption, maybe switch the display to a text file rather then just command prompts. maybe have it run on a mobile application be we will see.
