Inspiration

This Project PassGen is a step towards solving a problem of managing passwords. I have observed around me , that many people face this problem . For managing passwords , they have maintained seperate diaries , which is difficult to carry everywhere all the time . Even i have faced problem in managing passwords .

What it does

This webapp is an attempt for solving this problem . It helps in managing passwords easily . With just an account you can save your passwords with a specific name and it's description . Easily accessible anytime and from anywhere. Some built-in features like sorting and searching passwords is also provided.

How we built it

We used - Javascript for the logic part , React for the frontend ,backend is managed by mongodb , designing components are by spline .

Challenges we ran into

Building the frontend was challenging and it required a lot of debugging was done. Designing the website took time and help from various sources.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Management passwords at one place and easily accessible .

What we learned

Debugging needs time and patience .

What's next for PassGen

More security for the passwords. More features to be included. Deploying at large scale
