Inspiration: The kind acts of strangers can lighten someone's day and inspire others to do the same. We were inspired by the kind acts that happen in the long lines at coffee shops or lunch stops, when people pay a little toward the next person's meal.

What it does: Much like Uber Eats and Doordash, "Pass It On" takes the user's order for any nearby restaurants. Once the user is done with their order, the user has an option to pay an amount towards the next person's meal.

How I built it: We used Xcode and UIKit in order to build an iOS application. We wrote the program in Swift.

Challenges I ran into: The biggest challenge was tracking the user's order and storing it for later use, as well as making sure everything was formatted the same way.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: The biggest accomplishment is storing the information about the user's order, including everything they ordered and when they ordered it, for future use.

What I learned: We learned how to brainstorm together and communicating effectively in the team in order to make sure everyone understands what to do and where we are going.

What's next for Pass It On: Currently, Pass It On caters toward the consumer's end but offers little to the business side. The next step would be to give businesses the ability to efficiently use Pass It On in order to record orders and keep track of business transactions, making it easier for the business to use Pass It On.
