Party After Dark

Inspiration

I just wanted to make an upbeat pop video. I also had an image in my head of a fun girl in a bucket hat being the life of the party after dark.

How we built it

I built this video using multiple AI tools. To help flesh out the few lyrics I had and to add on to it, making a complete song, I used ChatGPT. Then I used Suno AI to create the music. After getting the song together, I used ChatGPT to make a reference image of the party girl I had in mind. Then used the best image in OpenArt AI to make still images. Once that was complete, I used those images to create lip sync videos in OpenArt and b-roll videos in Vidu. Finally, to put the video all together, with editing and adding lyrics, I used CapCut.

Challenges we ran into

The only real challenge was getting the perfect lip sync videos while trying not to use the last bit of credits I had left. Also, fitting the videos to the right part of the song to make things coherent and smooth.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing the project and not giving up on it. Even if I'm not completely happy with a few of the weird artifacts and lip-syncing errors, I'm proud to still showcase my work.

What we learned

That AI is still a big learning curve, especially in prompting to make sure things come out close to what you envision.
