Inspiration

Every class we have taken, we observed people we don't even know trying to study with us, searching for study buddies, even if they don't know us. It just makes people feel better.

What it does

We developed a web application to find study buddies in different classes, given just the screenshot of the user's schedule.

How we built it

We built it with optical character recognition, Flask, JSON, and front-end development with JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

Challenges we ran into

Cockroach DB. Made us change our entire path in the last 6 hours.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Beautiful UI, OCR perfection.

What we learned

Planning the Hackathon in advance is important, and skills in various different fields would help the team.

What's next for Partner Up!

Completing the idea into a more presentable idea.
