Part.ai - Find parties on campus
Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project comes from the fact that we're all software engineers with nothing to do on Friday.
What it does
Our app provides a way for students to find parties on campus! This allows students to plan parties with fellow students that they haven't met before, and also see ones which their closest friends are going to.
How we built it
We created the project design on Figma and implemented it with React!
Challenges we ran into
Challenges we ran into were both technical and business requirements challenges. Our technical challenges were figuring out how to create party cards; how to filter by different genre/interest, and integrate google maps to find each party location.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a functional app where users can find their local campus parties.
What we learned
We learned a of technical skills in React, as well as the importance of understanding the user when making user-focused apps.
