Huge problem!

Parking tickets are a burden that could cost hundreds of dollars a year.

There are less than 2 million cars in NYC, but over 9 million tickets, costing drivers over $700 million in 2014!

Could I park here?

Parking signs are extremely confusing in NYC. To make matters worse, there are exceptions that are not on the sign, like holidays. Locals have a hard time, never mind a tourist.

Once you figure it out, you will need a reminder to move your car or to feed the meter. A few minutes late could mean a ticket.

Our solution

ParQ figures out the correct parking regulation and automatically sets reminders in your phone. All with just one click!

The virtual street signs are broken

The NYC parking data-set has many mistakes and inaccuracies placing parking signs a few blocks off of their real location.

Our fix

To fix this we had to find an accurate data-set to match it to and then manually fix the mistakes. We are in middle of doing this process.

We are also adding a report feature to allow users to report mistakes in the data as well as movie shoots and special events that impact the parking rules.

Getting ready to launch

We are currently in testing on both iOS and Android. Once we fix the data-set we have to fix up the UX/UI and we are ready to launch!
