We wanted to fulfill a need or automate some process for users through an API that sends and receives SMS messages

What it does

We created an API that sends and receives sms messages between users, translating messages into the preferred language of recipients. Additionally, Galileo's API was used to send money between users, showing users the balance in their bank account across multiple currencies.

How I built it

We created an application that sends and receives SMS messages, then we implemented the logic and integrated the API for Google Translate to translate SMS messages. Finally, we integrated Galileo's API to allow for functionality to send and receive funds between users across multiple currencies.

Challenges I ran into

We had a difficult time setting up the virtual environment to allow our program to send and receive sms messages
