Traffic congestion in cities is a common frustration, and one of its major causes is the widespread problem of _ illegal parking_. Addressing this issue is vital for more efficient urban mobility.Also it helps in the economic growth by fining the owners of the illegally parked vehicles.

ParkRi8NoFine is an ML-based software that reads the license plate number of wrongly parked vehicles using pre-trained models and custom-made Mongodb.

Setting environment for ML-based Model and to connect database to the model was the most challenging part in the execution of our idea.

Better understanding of ML-based models.Number plate detection was a challenge as it returned non-alpha numericals as well.However we were able to fix the bug.

Understanding the working of backend , computer vision , deep learning and ML-models such as YOLO v8 and OCR .

We are looking forward to make the model more efficient and improving it into maintaining large parking spaces and crowded urban spaces
