Inspiration: The fuel to motivate me doing this project is to show beginner creators that you don’t need to have all the skills as a seasoned creator to make a fun world for everyone to enjoy and that it doesn’t have to be perfect but a use it as a way to express yourself through your creativity without knowing how to make or find difficult scripting. Also with a minor brain injury I received from a explosive device in Iraq it has caused me to have a cognitive disability to obtain knowledge and learn knew things that make worlds amazing… I hope to inspire others with the same conditions that they can also create and still be effective to make a fun interactive world in Horizon Worlds.
What it does
It is a challenging OBBY/Parkour that I built with our new AI tool in the Horizon Worlds desktop editor. I used promps that went with my personality and real life as an artist, magician, and tap dancer. My Parkour obstacles I designed are fun and playful and out of my imagination such as Dodging crows wesring Viking helmets and witch hats, jumping over ants holding burning candles, bouncing on floating umbrellas while dodging bats wearing royal crowns, and jumping on a flying dragon or two in order to get to the next level of the Parkour.
How we built it: I built this Parkour world all out of the new AI tool provided to us in desktop editor along with some old two useful code block scripts I required four months ago when I started building in January.
Challenges we ran into: Being excited at the beginning of the build and putting most of the capacity at the start and not leaving room for capacity toward the ending of the Parkour balance an equal level of challenge for each obstacle to over come.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: Just being able to have a plate form to express my personality and my creativity is a great feeling and an outlet and It makes me proud that people enjoy my seven worlds I’ve built on this plate form and had positive feed back. It makes me feel like I can make a positive impact on this platform and to do for others more than for myself.
What we learned:I have learned that I get a little better with my creative progress with each project I do and not to expect things to be perfect like the way I first imagine how a project to come out as I planned and that it’s important that the people participating in my finished project is always at the top of my mind while I’m creating in a new project.
What's next for Parkour Cryptic_Magician
I’m afraid that if I make to many Parkours with minimum scripting abilities that eventually people will think all my Parkour worlds will be the same but with different obstacles and backgrounds. So I’m going yo try to learn scripting and plus I want to make some light parkour words involving bringing in my own artwork in to VR from the outside world. I love this platform because since COVID started in 2020 I lost my clients and support to express myself through my artwork and to me it’s not about money but the ability to have a platform where I can challenge myself to do better with each project and sharing with people what I enjoy doing.
