Inspiration
In this age of revolutionized travelling, with four wheelers and two wheelers occupying nook and corner of the world, in heavily populated and cramped up locations, non-availability of spots to park vehicles is an added tension. With the abundance of online parking apps, we try to refurbish certain features and make it more user-friendly.
What it does
This app can lend support to book multiple spots for a single user too. It is made sure that the user details are safe within the app. A seamless functioning is ensured such that there arises no inconvenience for the user while availing a spot.
How we built it
We used Kotlin, Android Studios, Firebase for server.
Challenges we ran into
We came across a few loopholes, pain points in our hack, but we managed to tackle them and provide better solution in the end. Challenges include: 1) The inclusivity of the app. 2) Is Google Maps API really necessary here?
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to work around and fix the pain points in a less span of time.
What we learned
We learned the basics of Kotlin, Learnt how to connect firebase with android studios, basics of GitHub.
