The problems faced by the drivers finding a free space for their vehicles have inspired us to build this app for the users to freely move and save their fuel by finding a nearest spot in a parking lot.

What it does

Our project detects a free space in a given area like a parking lot or a parking place in a shopping complex and shows the user the best way to get to the free spot.

How we built it

We have used various software and programming languages mentioned below to built a app which uses maps and detection tools to assist the user to find a perfect spot for their vehicle.

Challenges we ran into

As we are not familiar about developing any application in the past we had to learn the specific language and search various videos to help us built the app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have attained to work about the way the detection is done by using a weight sensor in the place of the parking space and detect the vehicle when it passes by it and determine the type of vehicle have passed over it. By doing this we can easily determine the free space and give the best path to the user to park their vehicle.

What we learned

We learned about the process of developing an application and learnt various computer languages which help in the development of the application.

What's next for ACE parking

We will introduce a speed limit sensor and warn the user about it, which helps them and saves them in critical condition.
