Car reversing aid system that detects near-ground obstacles

This system is an alerting system that is used to detect obstacles that are close to the ground and providing the real all-around detection to angles that the normal parking sensors are not capable of. This design is composed of six sets of detectors installed at four wheels, front bumper, and rear bumper. For each set of detectors, it can detect the obstacles that are higher than 15cm and trigger the alert when the vehicle gets really close to the obstacles. When triggered, the reversing image will pop up a smaller window and show the real time image of the obstacles being detected. The system also comes with different operating modes for complex weather conditions. The purpose of this system is to cover the dead angle of the parking sensor and protect the vehicle from minor damages caused by near ground obstacles.
