Parking App

Inspiration

When people are out and about, it can often be difficult to find parking where you're going. Additionally, many times people may take several minutes driving around a lot to find somewhere available to park and then realize that they aren't wearing the proper clothing for the area, the only spots available are far away from the store, etc. We wanted to alleviate this.

What it does

Our project works as the app tracks your location while using it to find the various spots nearby that are available. Then, if you wanted to park nearby, you could quickly scan over the app, click on an open spot from the home screen, get directions to the location, and pay for parking (if applicable) all in one place. The home page also offers statistics based on how crowded the location you are at, or the location you choose to search for. The home page would also display weather conditions so that, before you get out of the car or leave your house, you can grab the various items that you are most likely to need. A lot of the other statistics on business and the quality of the parking spot would be from user reviews after using the spot, like with uber.

Using justinmind, we designed the prototype on an iPhone IOS model.
