ParentOrb is a chatbot that helps parents with connected kids (powered by Amazon Lex). It helps parents automate repetitive tasks like being ready at a certain time, chore deadlines, and curfews.

Parents interact with the chatbot on Facebook Messenger, where they can add children and events, and receive updates on ParentOrb's interaction with their kids. Kids receive reminders via text message on their phones (via Twilio)

I choose Facebook and SMS because of the ease of deployment and the large user base. A mobile app is planned, and I am even thinking of IOT devices.
