Inspiration
Following the "Don't be evil" motto. I noticed that I had a bunch of contacts(friends, family and business) stored on my phone. Most of them linked to my Google account, the rest to my Microsoft account. Their information consisted mostly of the phone numbers, email address, and some had their addresses as well.
Did not feel comfortable having all that information, so I decided to create a contact list app on Blockstack.
What it does
Store your personal contacts on the blockchain.
How I built it
Blockstack
Challenges I ran into
I had a bunch of node-gyp errors. Managed to fix the problem.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
What I learned
After working with Ethereum and Eos, Blockstack is really a breath of fresh air for blockchain.
What's next for Pare
While this is just phase 1 and a initial submission. There is amazing stuff coming in the final submission of the contest. Pare will be going mobile(Android for now) with integration with Blockstack's mobile sdk. Pare will also have a chat feature in the final submission.
