Inspiration

Small businesses are having a rough time. Due to the lock-down and quarantine imposed in several countries many brick-and-mortar shops have been or will be forced to close their doors just to find that to start selling online you need knowledge, time and resources that many just don't have.

We want to give small businesses a space to sell their products and make it as easy and intuitive as possible — take a photo of the item you want to sell, add price and post.

What it does

  1. There is an app for vendors in which they can add their listings and manage orders.
  2. There is website for customers where they can see all the listings and place orders.

How we built it

We are using Angular, Ionic, Firebase and Algolia. We are fully open-source.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We took part in Lithuania's "Hack the Crisis" and gained recognition from Enterprise Lithuania and ChangeMakers'ON. In a week's time and without any promotion, we already have on-boarded our first vendor and have 15 more waiting to join the app.

What's next for Pard.app

Continued development, opening up vendor registrations and launching in Lithuania.
