✨ Inspiration

This project comes from my desire to take my art to a new dimension. Since 2012, I’ve been creating illustrations in Procreate, and during this year, I transformed them into a game where my characters and worlds come alive. I wanted players not only to see my art, but to experience and interact with it.

🕹 What it does • Each level is based on original illustrations created over more than 10 years. • Adapted into an interactive game on Snapchat using Lens Studio. • Players can explore, interact with elements, solve small challenges, and compete on a real-time leaderboard. • It’s both a game and a living gallery of my art.

🛠 How I built it • Art: hand-drawn illustrations in Procreate (2012–2025). • Platform: Lens Studio. • Code: custom JavaScript scripts for unique interactions, triggers, and animations. • Leaderboard: integration of competitive features to track player scores. • Design: combining Lens Studio templates with original mechanics I built from scratch.

⚔️ Challenges • Turning 2D static illustrations into playable interactive experiences. • Learning how to modify and extend Lens Studio templates to build something unique. • Implementing a leaderboard system inside a platform that was not originally designed for it. • Optimizing graphics and scripts to ensure smooth performance on mobile devices.

🏆 Accomplishments that I’m proud of • Built a fully playable prototype with new JavaScript interactions. • Integrated my personal artistic style with programming and interactivity. • Brought my art —more than 10 years in the making— into a social, playable experience on Snapchat.

📚 What I learned

I learned how to combine my illustrations with interactive programming and how to expand Lens Studio beyond its basic features. I discovered how a personal visual universe can become a participatory and competitive space for others.

🚀 What’s next • Expand with more levels and collections of playable art. • Improve the leaderboard system with new metrics. • Publish extended and cross-platform versions.
