When we were discussing possibilities for a business project in the Class, one of us suggested the idea of a parking solution. We all have witnessed the issue of the absence of parking spaces in our life, and hence we selected this idea for development.
The project, Par-Care, connects the owners of parking spaces and the customers who want to use those spaces on a real-time basis. It also facilitates the booking of parking spaces in advance for specific time slots and easy payment of parking fees online.
We further developed the idea into a business plan as a part of our Finastra project through mutual discussions.
In order to develop this project further, we need trained developers and other resources like computers and cloud-based servers. In the absence of funding, we are not yet in a position to take the project forward.
We are very happy and proud to have developed a business proposal that is very practical and easily implementable. This project, when implemented will further the cause of multiple sustainable development goals.
In the process, so far, we have learned about various challenges in setting up a business and the resources necessary.
Going forward, we will raise the necessary finances and develop a demo version of the Par-Care application.
