PaperTrail is a direct record of the facts. It reads with AI on the device itself and exists in the NAS, and it can see when folders receive new documents. It then sorts and renames the files, organizes them, and notifies about renewals, warranties, and past due dates too.
As we know, PaperTrail itself is a direct record. It is used by freelancers and households who keep their invoices, scans, receipts and contracts on a NAS already, although the bulk of it is gathered in a messy pile with names like IMG_2041. Finding a document might just be pure luck. No one will notice expired warranties, and important documents will be lost even though they may be previously saved.
It transforms the NAS into a clerk or secretary who files all new files and reads them, and also tags them with useful details about the sender, receiver, amount and all. Anything it's not sure about is queued and reviewed rather than carelessly filed.
