Inspiration

I frequently happen to have some food left in my fridge that is expiring soon and I often don't know how to combine them in a recipe.

What it does

PantryRock gives you three recipes with the ingredients you have, respecting your dietary needs and preferences.

How we built it

I built it using PartyRock by AWS.

Challenges we ran into

I had to tweak the original prompt and I tested multiple LLMs to check which one was yielding the best results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I tested this app with nearly 50 people and they were all surprised by its easy of use and feasibility of recipes.

What we learned

I learned to better describe what I want the app to do, without giving some details for granted.

What's next for PantryRock

I want to further develop PantryRock so that it can register the dietary needs and preferences of the users. I also want to offer a localized version of the app so that it can reach not only English-speaking users.
