Inspiration
As college students, we only have so many ingredients, and it can get hard trying to figure out what to make with what we have.
What it does
It automatically builds grocery lists based on missing pantry items, everyday essentials, and recipe suggestions. With ingredient tagging, personalization, and personalized preferences, PantryPal makes shopping faster, easier, and more organized.
How we built it
Using TypeScript, CSS, HTML, MongoDB, and JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
Trying to find the right API that fits our needs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to provide personalized recipes catered to the user's pantry and restrictions.
What we learned
How to develop a product in a team setting by communicating and working together to overcome any obstacles.
