Inspiration Pantry Pal was inspired by the need to encourage people to eat healthier home cooked meals but taking a little more time looking into the ingredients they already have.
What It Does Pantry Pal is a place where given ingredients, it can generate recipes/dishes. Ingredients can be given either manually typed or with voice inputs.
How we Built It we built Pantry Pal using streamlit for the frontend. It uses TastyAPI to generate nesessary dishes based on inputs. It also uses vosk to take in audio inputs.
