Inspiration

We never know what to cook with we what we have!

What it does

It's an app that tells you what recipes we you can make with the ingredients you have, and helps keep track of all your food.

How we built it

An android front end talks to a REST server in the cloud (running using Ruby.)

Challenges we ran into

Classifying ingredients. Organizing data from Recipes scraped online. Having a good Android user experience with networking. Polishing the cooking UI. Android search widget.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It works. It's not that bad actually.

What we learned

Nothing is as simple as it first seems. Use time saving API's

What's next for Pantri

IPO in the Fall of 2017, IPA tomorrow.
