PantherPal is an innovative AI-driven study companion designed exclusively for Florida International University (FIU) students built by first-time hackers who are also FIU students. Built using JavaScript, React, and Material UI, this web-based platform integrates advanced AI technology to provide a personalized learning experience.

The core feature of PantherPal is its AI chatbot, powered by OpenAI, which assists students with education-related questions, offering explanations on complex topics, answering course-related questions, and guiding students through challenging concepts in real time. Whether students need help understanding a lecture, finding resources, or managing time, PantherPal is their go-to academic assistant.

Additionally, PantherPal includes a dynamic flashcard system, also utilizing OpenAI's capabilities. This feature allows students to create, review, and test themselves on customizable flashcards. The AI automatically generates additional practice questions based on the content, helping students prepare for exams more effectively. By harnessing the power of AI, the flashcard system adapts to individual study habits, focusing on areas where improvement is needed.

Together, PantherPal aims to make university more efficient and accessible, enabling FIU students to excel in their academic journey with the help of cutting-edge AI technology.
